The BEST Protein Pancakes

Alas, my friends, I have found the best protein pancakes! 

I've tried many recipes and have always ended up hating them. I think it's the egg/banana combo. Ick! Once you make these, they will be the only pancakes you ever make!

Michabella's Protein Pancakes
adapted from Beautiful Mess
makes about 6-8 pancakes

1 cup Gluten Free Oat Flour
1/2 cup Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk
1 scoop Vanilla Whey Protein Powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 1/2 T Coconut Oil (Melted)
1/3 cup unsweetened applesauce
1/8 cup water
1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
blueberries (optional)

Mix all ingredients together. Scoop 1/3 cup of batter and pour onto greased hot griddle or skillet. Once they start to bubble, flip those babies over. Serve with honey or syrup of choice and devour the goodness. {I love to add bananas on top!}

hummm...i have tried protein powder in some other things and just can't get over the fact. I just don't like the taste. :( but yours look delish to try.

Nice, and gluten free too! But do they really stay together with only oat flour? Oat flour usually needs something else with it so that the bread/whatever stays in one piece.
